What are you an Expert on?

Are you an Expert?

It seems that on these hubs, social networks, websites, blogs, and forums, EVERYONE is an expert on something!

What makes you an expert?

Is your level of expertise defined by your abilities? Or is it defined by the legnth of time that you are or were involved in that particular activity. Do you have to have a successful track record and or testomonials, to be defined as an expert? And who labels you as an expert?

Many, have never even considered their expertise. Which is unfortunate, because it is important to have purpose in life and understanding of our abilities. Where do you find your purpose? Is it related to your level of expertise?

As well, what do you do with the knowledge and ability that you have from that expertise??

Do you idlely sit back and watch it melt away before your very eyes, do you share it with others? Do you sell it?

Hi Kay,

I am also a newbie here on Hub Pages so keep up the good work and lets have some hubs on Accounting which is my weakest point.

You could check your spelling when you have a moment..there are three errors at the last count.

Guess I will have to write a hub on the deterioration of the English Language within the Internet community. You can tell I'm a Brit .can't you?

Hello Instructor:

Thank you for taking the time out to read my hub!

I did notice that I had some errors there, however; they were grammatical-not spelling errors. When you have a moment you may want to check out the difference between grammatical versus spelling. *smiles*

Guess I will have to write a hub on the rise of SARCASM in the the English language! You can tell I'm an AMERICAN...can't you?! LOL

Seriously, thanks a lot for the good eye! I will definitely check out some of your hubs, as I am sure they will be an interesting read... FREE of Grammatical errors of course!

this is good food for thought - if more people considered what they could share (TRULY as experts) we could really help each other out. :-)
